So!
(this is in regards to deviantART)I've just shifted a good 70% or so of my gallery to Storage. I'll be phasing out my "advice on my art" journals, and they'll be locatable on my website. My best tutorials will also be going on my website, and my less popular ones will probably just go into Storage with the rest. I've removed a large amount of people from my watchers list (about 80%... If you go to check and find I've removed you, then I'm sorry. I just removed people I don't communicate with anymore). I'll also be uploading less art and fewer journals. YES I know I've said that before, but it's different this time
You may be asking yourself why I'm doing all this. I guess the best way to explain it is that deviantART (and all other art communities) is just a website. I feel as though I've gotten what I can out of it. I'll probably never leave it fully, and I will keep my best art up. I'll also continue to watch the progression of a select few other members who I watch. I guess I used to take this website too seriously. Now, I'm going to wind it down a little and see what happens. I need to "grow out of it" sometime. I feel that the right time is now.
If you want to tell me to change my mind about something, feel free to share your thoughts. I don't want my watchers to feel as though they've watched me for nothing. I just feel like there's bigger and better things out there that I'm missing out on. I hope you all understand where I'm coming from. That's all I wanted to say for now.
